Radar Perception In Unconventional Driving Environments

In unconventional driving environments, radar sensors offer a robust view of the surroundings. However, the amount of clutter and noise that come with this measurement modality require sophisticated probabilistic reasoning to exclude false alarms and reduce noise. For optimal results, the strengths of radar sensors are fused with other sensors.Takeaways from the Talk:

  • Leveraging sensor data-fusion to improve results

  • Smart decisions with probabilistic reasoning
